Evaluation is an integral part in the field of language education, with the aim of uncovering the advantages and weaknesses of a curriculum or book. The textbook, among other types of books, has a special place in guiding and guiding students. It is the vessel of knowledge, the transmitter of culture, the focus of the educational process, and the main source of information for teachers and students. The researcher carefully analysed the book of literature and rhetoric for the fifth year used in religious schools with the integrated religious curriculum in Malaysia based on the selected criteria developed by Professor Rushdi Ahmed Toaima. These standards are developed by doctors and students from time to time. This study aims to know the validity of using the book in the teaching and learning processes. The researcher adopted several elements such as directing, preparation basics, content, activities, book accompaniment, and general impression, and then applying these criteria in her analysis of the book. At the end of this research, I wrote the overall results obtained by the book. The study found that the authors adhered to book-authoring standards such as reading level, presentation channel, selected texts, design, layout, language skills and their components, and use of student-centred and learning in the 21st century (PAK21). After that, come up with some suggestions and recommendation.
